Meanwhile, Agent offers +5% more Health, -6% less Power Cooldown, +25% more Paragon/Renegade scores, and +15% Power Duration, instead. Compared to Agent, Assassin offers +6% more weapon damage, +10% more Sniper Rifle slowdown and a quarter of a second more duration to it, and +15% Power Damage. But when it comes to which evolution you should go for, it’s up to your preference. With all these benefits, you obviously should rank this up early on. The class passive of Infiltrator, boosting Health, Weapon Damage, Sniper Rifle ADS (aiming-down-sights) time dilation and duration, Paragon/Renegade scores, and reducing Power Cooldown times. And 6 seconds is more often than not enough to position yourself however you please. Enhanced Cloak’s two-second addition to the duration of the cloak itself (not the damage bonus itself, for clarification). When it comes to which evolution you’d want, the damage bonus from Assassination Cloak is too good to pass up vs. So no, before you get any bright ideas, you can’t make the Cain explode +75% harder, as much as that wouldn’t make a lick of sense as going invisible making a bullet hit harder. Oh right, and before I forget: the damage boost doesn’t affect Heavy Weapons. However, this damage bonus only lasts for a few seconds, starting as soon as the cloak visually activates and ending as the cloak visually deactivates completely, meaning that the damage bonus will be more useful on guns that can innately put out a lot of damage in a short amount of time, like single-shot sniper rifles. This damage bonus applies to both guns and melee attacks. The main draw of this power is that not only do you turn invisible to nearly all enemies, but you gain a hefty damage boost, as much as +75% with Assassination Cloak, as soon as the cloak deactivates. With all that said, there’s a reason why it’s called Tactical Cloak, so make sure you position yourself wisely with it. And the 6-second cooldown timer doesn’t start until you decloak, so you can’t be perpetually invisible. So if you come out of it next to an enemy with no shielding or nearby cover whatsoever, prepare to have a contingency plan, or die… Probably that. Not only that, but while cloaked, you will not regenerate health nor shields. To be that annoying English teacher and for clarification, you turn invisible, not invincible and that means you can still die while you’re cloaked if you get caught in the crossfire, for example. While this does sound pretty sweet, there are a couple challenges that this power presents that you ought to know. As you can imagine, once you activate it (with no start-up animation, no less), you turn invisible for a set duration and enemies will lose track of you. This is the power that so clearly defines Infiltrator as a whole.
